I am very passionate about health and fitness, in part due to my scientific background as a biomedical research scientist, and in part due to the awareness that health is a human being’s best and most precious asset. I plan to have an active life style for as long as I live, and I make the daily work necessary toward this end.

 

I grew up practicing sports and felt very excited to study sports physiology, anatomy and related subjects at university. In addition, I have been involved in biomedical research in the field of mind-body or integrative medicine. As a result, I have incorporated tools and techniques, which are based on research findings in that arena. These tools are designed to enable my client’s meeting their health and fitness goals, enhancing their quality of life and sense of well being. I am a firm believer that the body responds to the way we think. A focused and determined mind is essential to any training aimed at improving fitness level, weight management and enhancing athletic performance.

 

Moreover, I am a personal coach on stress management. I take pride in having extraordinary transpersonal skills, which allow me to build a very pleasant and effective working relationship with my client, based on accountability and trust.

 

I am committed to delivering an individualized and effective fitness program, suitable to meet my client’s goals, taking into account frequency and length of training, intensity and modality of exercises, and my client’s fitness level. My programs are designed to create a balanced combination of exercises for cardio-respiratory fitness, strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and neuromuscular coordination.

 

I am especially skillful at designing exercises for older women. At the age of 51, I am on top of my fitness level for my age group. Let me take you there as well.
