About Alex –
"Let's go to the gym," has always been something many would hear me suggest. Since I was in grade school I was constantly exercising. There was never a day that passed that I wasn't playing basketball, volleyball, running, or lifting weights. Though college I played volleyball, where my knowledge of strength and conditioning continued to grow. I've always enjoyed exercise and athletics, and I want to share my enjoyment with others.
My education background has allowed me to gain a plethora of athletic training knowledge, but I wanted to expand myself as a professional. Rather than evaluating and developing rehabilitation protocols for injured athletes, I wanted to train people to become athletes. My knowledge of athletic related injury also allows me to treat those aches and pains that come along with exercise.
As well as managing injuries, I'm well versed in human anatomy and physiology which is a tremendous help when developing workout plans. With my knowledge, athletic training experience, and enthusiasm, I am confident that I can help anyone reach their fitness goals, whether they are to become a marathon runner, be able to take the laundry up and down the stairs without becoming tired, or anywhere in between.
