Laura began working out when she was 14 years old with the goal of increasing her strength to become more of an asset to her cheerleading squad.  She continued to develop her body, enhance her strength, and decrease her body fat percentage because she loved the energy, lower stress, and compliments that regular exercise lead to.

She developed such a passion for exercise that she decided to make kinesiology (the study of human movement), her college major – and she liked it so much; she’s now getting a master’s degree.

All this knowledge of the science behind exercise allows Laura to develop effective, innovative exercise programs for people with a wide variety of exercise histories and objectives.  She especially enjoys restoring hope and health in people who lost their motivation to be fit due to injury or illness.

Laura started to modify and adapt exercises ever since a severe injury a couple years ago made it impossible for her to workout the way she had in the past.  Though a troubling personal experience, it improved her professionally. She now analyzes common exercises and movement patterns to design scientifically sound programs for anyone regardless of their physical limitations or equipment available.

Her ability to regress or progress movements step by step as needed and explain them to even the most novice client distinguishes her as an intelligent, adaptable, and compassionate personal trainer
