About Bill –
Bill had been a swimmer and tennis player (which brought him a college scholarship) all his life, but the bug to be a full-time fitness professional did not bite until about five years ago.
About that time he felt out of shape, over weight, under energized. When he returned to the gym, he rediscovered just how good it felt to exercise regularly. One thing that did not happen though was weight loss. For this he had to learn more about nutrition. When he did so, he lost the weight and started thinking about fitness as a career.
To learn even more Bill signed up for the 500 hour personal training course run by the National Personal Training Institute. By the time the course was over, he was ready to give up his well established career in facilities management, take a big pay cut and become a full-time personal trainer.
In Bill’s words, he made this change because, “I so strongly believe in the value of fitness, I love working with people, and I want to help them reach their goals”. In short - he wants to spend the rest of his life doing what he loves. We should all be so lucky!
